About Me

I am currently a junior in college, majoring in dietetics.  My ultimate dream would be to work with eating disorder patients as a registered dietitian.  No matter what I want to help people.  That’s my lifelong goal.  I want to teach people that food is not inherently bad and it is possible to eat any food in moderation.  Food can not harm you, it is only food.  I am in recovery from anorexia and as part of my journey I want to share positive outlooks on food to help others learn that food does not have to be scary.  You do not have to have  list of good foods or a list of bad foods.  Food is just food, it’s fuel.  This blog is for everyone out there who wants to gain a new perspective and possibly a new relationship with food, one that is not a love/hate relationship, but a healthy, thriving relationship.  To anyone in recovery from an eating disorder just know that it is possible to beat the disease; it just takes a bunch of small steps, but you will get there in the end and it will be so worth it. I hope you enjoy! If anyone wants to share ideas or thoughts, or just wants to talk and get support, don’t hesitate to contact me.  I am here for you, this blog is for you.
